چکیده
Abstract In this research, the efficiency of activated carbon prepared from leaves a perennial plant called Malva parviflora (MPP) to remove Maxillon Blue GRL and Disperse 183 dyes aqueous solution was studied. The preparation process carried out in three ways, firstly, using without any chemical treatment (MPP), secondly, Activated (AC-MPP), third, acid-activated (AAC-MPP) with several solutions such as ((H2SO4, HCl, H3PO4, CH3COOH, NaOH). results that were reached indicate surface (phosphoric acid) is characterized by its high removal two dye solution, where percentage reaches ( 94.69 84.14 % ) compared acid 94.44 79.96 for respectively. properties determined FESEM technique, functional aggregates also detected (FTIR technique. role recycling reactivity can be re-used again

Mercury removal from aqueous solutions by palm leaves adsorbent
Mercury is a carcinogenic and teratogenic compound that tends to accumulate in water solutions. In this research, the removal of mercury from an aqueous solution was evaluated by using palm leaves. Experiments were performed to study the adsorption efficiency, the effect of the adsorbent amount, the balance time, the adsorbate concentration, and the pH on mercury removal. The experimental appar...
متن کاملRemoval of Cationic Dyes from Aqueous Solution using Organomodified Nanoclay
In this work, organomodified nanoclay has been used as the adsorbent for the removal ofbasic blue 41, cationic dye from an aqueous solution. The performance of the organomodified nanoclay was tested in a batch system under varying pH (2–12), adsorbent dosage (0.1–2 g L-1), initial dye concentration (10–60 mgL-1), and contact time (5- 100 min). The best conditions were achieved at pH of 7,...
متن کاملHighly Efficient, Rapid, and Simultaneous Removal of Cationic Dyes from Aqueous Solution Using Monodispersed Mesoporous Silica Nanoparticles as the Adsorbent
In this work, a highly efficient and rapid method for simultaneously removing cationic dyes from aqueous solutions was developed by using monodispersed mesoporous silica nanoparticles (MSNs) as the adsorbents. The MSNs were prepared by a facile one-pot method and characterized by scanning electron microscopy, transmission electron microscopy, Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy, and Brunaue...
متن کاملPhotocatalytic Degradation of Safranin Dye from Aqueous Solution Using Nickel Nanoparticles Synthesized by Plant Leaves
In this paper, a facile and eco-friendly method for the preparation of Ni nanoparticles (Ni NPs) has been described based on the bioreduction of aqueous Ni(II) precursors with Phlomis cancellata Bunge extract. UV-visible spectrum of the aqueous medium containing Ni nanoparticles showed a peak of 390 nm. Since the experimental conditions of this procedure play vital roles in the synthesis...
